Position Description
To lead the Service Market Trucks processes and activities of Volvo Trucks in Belux.
To provide accurate support, analyses and challenges in the area of Service, Parts, Total Offer, and Dealer Processes.
To show active leadership, coordination and general direction to reflect the Volvo Values and promote the Brand’s Mission, Vision and Wanted Position statements.

Member of the Volvo Trucks Belux Management Team

Influence
The Job holder has full authority in accordance with the financial rules and policies defined by AB Volvo for this role level.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize the availability of parts and the parts pricing list.
• Overall Service Market responsibility for Direct Service Market customers.
• Provide an optimal active marketing support.
• Responsible for the follow up, reporting and interpretation of the relevant KPI deciding upon the corrective actions.
• Manage the Service Market business plan and budget as well as dealer targets.
• Support Bus Service Market activities based upon Truck policies and processes.
• Close to the dealer and customers to capture successes, complaints, improvements.
• Implement corrective actions where necessary. 
• Manage the goodwill and warranty cost.
• Stimulate parts selling and related products/services (TSE).
• Increase the service penetration in the different dealerships.
• Enhance the sales of contract services in terms of Service Contract Management.
• Contribute to the development of future services.
• Act as a business oriented people focused leader.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Essential educational and/or training qualifications

• Hold a university degree and/or equivalent qualification.
• Formal training in leadership, people development, communication and people skills.
• Demonstrating a high level of competence in each of the Volvo Leadership competencies.
  
• Good knowledge about Volvo Service Market processes as well as dealer processes.
• Bilingual Dutch/French and fluent in English.
• Solid business knowledge about the key responsibilities.
